Mylar ® Polyester Film is an extraordinarily strong material that grew out of the development of Dacron® in the early 1950s. It is a flexible, strong and durable film with an unusual balance of properties, making it an extremely versatile material.

Mylar ® Polyester Film can perform as a highly reliable and stable insulating material and can be broadly used as a packaging material for the shipping of products such as electronics.

It can take a variety of treatments including being embossed, metalized, printed upon, stamped, punched, corrugated, dyed and coated. The excellent dielectric strength, moisture resistance and physical durability make Mylar ® a standard material for various industrial applications.

If you have specific requirements, we can cut stock sheets to any size or shape that you require.
We keep a very wide variety of thicknesses in stock, ranging from 0.03mm (0.001 in.) up to 0.25mm (0.010 in.).

We can custom machine and die cut your Mylar sheets to your specifications.
