ELECTRICAL INSULATION MATERIAL PRODUCTS

Fish Paper - Vulcanized Fiber
Fish Paper Fish paper is a rigid vulcanized fiber, which is A chemically pure cellulose product containing no resin or bonding agents.

It is used primarily for its excellent electrical insulating properties.

Used frequently for electrical insulation, fish paper is commonly die-cut and sheared.

G10 FR4 / Phenolics
G10 FR4 G10 FR4 is used in the electrical insulation of appliance PCBs, electrical terminals, and mechanical lines.

G10 FR4 is created from electrical, alkali-free glass cloth that has been impregnated with an epoxy resin under pressure and heat.

Various grades and colors of Garolite ®, Micarta ® and Phenolics are available.

LE Phenolic
LE Phenolic LE Phenolic is a fabricated reinforced laminate produced from a fine weave cotton cloth impregnated with a phenolic resin binder. The fine weave linen yields good mechanical properties, dimensional stability and a better finish for machined components than the CE material, particularly for intricate detailed components. However, it is not recommended for electrical primary insulation applications. LE phenolic meets Mil-I-24768/13 FBE requirements. It is available in sheet stock, rod, angle and U channel forms.

Mylar®
Mylar Polyester Film, also known as Mylar®, is an extraordinarily strong material used in a variety of electrical insulating applications.

Mylar® polyester film is a very flexible, tough and durable film with an unusual balance of properties, making it a very versatile material.

This material has been used by NASA to wrap satellites to filter out harmful radiation that would damage sensitive electronic equipment.
