G10 FR4 is used in the electrical insulation of appliance PCBs, electrical terminals, and mechanical lines. G10 FR4 is created from electrical, alkali-free glass cloth that has been impregnated with an epoxy resin under pressure and heat. Various grades and colors of Garolite ®, Micarta ® and Phenolics are available. More G10 FR4 / Phenolics Information |
| LE Phenolic | |

LE Phenolic is a fabricated reinforced laminate produced from a fine weave cotton cloth impregnated with a phenolic resin binder. The fine weave linen yields good mechanical properties, dimensional stability and a better finish for machined components than the CE material, particularly for intricate detailed components. However, it is not recommended for electrical primary insulation applications. LE phenolic meets Mil-I-24768/13 FBE requirements. It is available in sheet stock, rod, angle and U channel forms.
